possible for my cham to not like the taste of dusting?

I went to the store and they didnt have calcium powder (i just ordered repashy calcium plus so i dont have any currently) they usually powder my crickets cuse i only buy 2 days of crickets at a time but this time he put some type of multi vitamin on them and my cham only ate like 2. usually he eats 7 or 8, just wondering if maybe he doesnt like the tase. if not is it normal for him to not be hungry every once in awhile? please help!

how old is he and what type of cham? and yes very possible he doesnt like the taste. not likely but weirder things have happened!

haha for sure. well hes a flapneck hes about 9 months or somethin around there he eats every other day. but yea today was the first time he wasnt down with the food

I had a boy that would spit bugs out on vitamin days and if the crix were too heavily dusted with anything. vet said to concentrate on good gutloading of feeders and encouraging him to eat fruits an veggies. check out sandrachameleons blogs for good info about all that.

lol no way! yea they are heavily coated as a matter of fact the guy put alot they look like ghost crickets lol interesting chams are like that, ill try to find that sanda article because it seams this is the problem. thanks for the help

yea sounds like it!!! dustings should be light,. the crickets should bearly change to a grey color..

yea thats good to know! ill be dusting my own soon but for the time being ill ask for less. well i hope some of that shit rubbs off them soon or maybe ill try spraying them with my squirt bottle? cuse there poopin in the cage now i gotta clean that cuse they have been in there all day lol
