I recently, about a month ago, got a veiled chameleon. I think it's a male, but I'm not positive yet. Anyways, I went on vacation for a week and left him in a friend's care and I think he may have gotten some burns on his head. Advice is definitely needed.

the skin spots could be the start of a shed. but we need better photos please, preferably without your flash as its just shining off him.

are you talking about the white/brown spots on his sides??

My baby cham had the same problem. It looks to me like he is burnt, so I would find a way to keep the lights up a little bit farther from the cage, and put neosporin on it.

If you do the neosporin 2x or 3x a day it should heal up pretty quick. My chams did, and his were a little worse than that. If you notice the burns getting worse, or the neosporin isnt helping, go to the vet, they should have Silver sulfadiazine, which helps a lot. :)
