Popped blister

I came back from my lunch to find my chameleon, Basil(F Jackson)‘s blister on her nose popped. She had rubbed her nose raw and it had been like this for weeks and she is going into the vet tomorrow. Do I wipe the gunk off or leave it on? Is there anything I can put on it to make sure it doesn’t get any worse?

I would leave it as is mainly because you already plan to see the vet. I would hesitate to use any ointments that close to the mouth with out instructions from your vet.
