Poor aim?

So it's Uhura's 3rd day with us and she seems to be adjusting nicely, She likes her mistings and all that and she's been eating like a champ, only problem is she's a very poor shot. She has missed every time I see her shoot. She is eating but from what it seems is that shes becoming discouraged when she shoots so she's leaning over and snatching them up instead. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

sounds like a supplementing issue.
what do you use?
where did you get her from?

I use calcium without D3 and do the rotational with D3 and Reptivite each 2 days a month.
I got her from a local petstore, she's from a breeder in town who writes a pamphlet specifically for each cham with care and supplementation directions. She's pretty thourough. Can this be a result of being dehydrated, her enclosure at the store was pretty hot, I've been giving her extra water throughout the day.

its possible its from dehydration.

Though im still concerned that even though the pamphelt was right, that the cham wasnt being supplemented properly.

It's a possibility, the store only sells calcium with vitamin D3. It's also likely that she wasn't being supplemented at all. And I know for a fact that they don't gutload their crickets.

i think therein lies your problem.

gutload really really well, and supplement properly, and hopefully she will get better.

I gutload well, my homemade gutload, fresh fruit and the occasionally rare fluckers dry gutload. is all my crickets have access to as far as food seeing that I keep them all in the same bucket. Hopefully she will. She hits them sometimes, but when she does they don't stick.
