Pooping crickets

My 1 and a half month veiled's poop has just been a bunch of cricket heads and legs lately is this bad? His urate looks fine

What temperature is his basking spot at and what time do you feed him. Does he have enough time to fully digest.

It sounds as if he is not digesting his food properly. If you do not have the temps warm enough for him he will not be able to digest his food. If you feed him late at night and then turn off the lights, again he will not be able to digest his food. They need heat and warmth to digest. Are you sure he is only 1 1/2 months old?

Yes he is a month and a half and ya that is probably it i have fed him right before bed the last two nights

you should be feeding him in the morning or early afternoon so he has time to bask and digest his food. Try not feeding him at night any more and see if that doesn't change things.

especially at that age dont be feeding him anywhere neer before bed.



That is a baby baby and extra care will need to be taken just because of the age.

make sure his food is the right size for him, sounds like the food items may be too big to digest, also low basking temps will slow down digestion, so give them time to digest the meal by feeding early in the day,
