Stanley had a nice big poop this morning but i don't see any urates with it, just brown poop....
what does that mean????
lisa

It might have separated from the poop. Sometimes that happens and it can be very hard to find in a dense cage :)

do they ever just pass poop and no urate or vise versa?

thanks,, lisa

I'm not sure if they ever just pass poop and no urate or vise versa but sometimes one or the other is all that I find.

I had the same thing happened with Perry yesterday Lisa. I was scared at first, but he looked so well i figured it just got lost in the leaves.

I ended up finding the urate today, so everything is well. I hope everything is going well for Stanley! :)

They can pass just urates - when my first female was gravid she didn't eat for almost 10 days, but she still produced urates. Never had any poop without urates though.

thanks Tyler,, i still didn't find the urate, but i guess it could be hiding behind a leaf or something...

Miss Lily, i'm hoping/guessing that the urate is in the foilage somewhere!!

I had this happen as well but later found the urate and it was a lot smaller than normal.

Do the sizes of urates vary?
