Polysporin

So Starks toe nail came off and a member told me not to use a petroleum based antibiotic cream. All the stores have around here is polysporin with a petroleum base. Will this work? Its just for his toe so I do not think he would eat it. I searched on some threads and some people used polysporin but could not get a clear answer if it was safe if it had a petroleum base.
Please help!

I posted awhile back about my male cham with toe nails on back feet ,,back two legs he has outer nails shorter than the middle one and didn't get much help on info,, I wish I could help but i'm not that great in information about chams ,, wish you the best

I've used Polysporin for years on all parts of the cham's body except around the mouth area for small open wounds or bites with no apparent side affects.
