Plugging up holes in a custom cage?

2x2x5...all done, will post photos shortly...though there are 2 places (very small) that two pieces of wood don't quite touch. I have 3 crickets in there now to see if they can find a way out overnight, but...


Does anyone have any idea of a Cham-safe way I could plug up these couple holes? I think they are JUST large enough for a lg cricket to get through..

I could just use tiny pieces of paper towel but does anyone know of anything more permanent??

What about some kind of weather stripping if it's around doors or even wood putty (then sand down) depending on where the holes are.

Either pick up some wood putty/ bondo, get a can of great stuff foam, or get a small tube of aquarium silicone.

that is what I use -you can get crack fill stripping - at like home depot - it is soft, and squishes right in
