Plotting My Next Cham Adventure

Hello,
I Currently have a Panther Chameleon who is amazing. I just recently got a new job, so to celebrate I want to get myslef another Cham. I have looked into just about every type there is on the market. I'm Think I may either go with a Meller's or another Panther..What are your thoughts? I just cant get over the panther colors they are so amazing. I have a medium closet sized area in which to free range th new cham. It will be decorated with a couple Live Ficus trees, and various other types of plants like pothos and schefflera. My handy dandy BF is going to rig up a basking light and uvb onto the ceiling :) I cant wait for that first Paycheck so i can go start buying stuff.

I don't know what type of research you've been doing on mellers, but if I were you I'd go with them. They just seem so interesting and plus you already have a panther :)

They arent necessarily as colorful as a pardalis. But you really ought to consider a jackson they have an awesome temperment. All of them Ive seen or kept were big babies and didnt seem to mind the occasional handling and moving inside and outside.

If you are considering a melleri, better do lots of homework. Here is an excellent website to study http://www.melleridiscovery.com/. The thing about melleris is their sensitivity to meds and the fact that they're aren't a lot of CB available so you would have to deal with a wild caught. WC are very hard to acclimate if you are getting one straight from the importer and most don't make it in the hands of newbies (no offense) just letting you know what you may be in for. I would take TP man's advice and go with another panther or jackson. If you do decide on a melleri be aware of where and who you are getting it from. ;)

I agree with the Jackson's Cham. He isn't as colorful as a panther or veiled but the horns are unbelievable! He free ranges in my living room and I handle mine all the time. Great temperament! He'll fall asleep in my hand while scratching him. Nothing bothers him..not me or not the cats :)

The Jackons are cute..I may look into them a little more. My Panther is Super friendly I got very lucky with him, I doubt I could get another like him..though I wish i could :) It would be awesome. I have Heard Veilds have a tendency to be mean..is this true?

Well, Jannb's veileds are all nice from what I hear. Mine hates me... It just depends on the cham.
