and seeing other chameleon keepers being heart broken about chameleon passing on the forums is making me even more heartbroke ): everytime i see one of those articles its a whole mood shift...

I feel like during COVID these animals weren’t cared for properly by the large suppliers. There has been a lot showing up with issues shortly, within months, of being taken home. It is unfair to put people through this with out knowing.

But several that were posted here were because of poor husbandry because proper info was not given to them! It breaks my heart to see so many deaths in just the past 3 days!

Could be a lot of variables to it. Maybe more people bought pets while being home, who shouldn't have pets. More people on forums. And maybe like you said, large suppliers weren't caring for them as much.
