My dad just found these two abandoned in a box in Miami and I could get one if I decide I can handle the breed. But I don't know what they could be. I just hope they aren't pit mixed, because I can't have them where I live.

Hound perhaps? I was watching one on webcam and she looks almost lab x boxer?

they looks like bullmasif puppys. darn cute id keep one for sure if i was you, if not both

I'd say more hound/lab/maybe mastiff maybe boxer...the heads are more hound...but there has to be some boxer, mastiff, pittie, boston lol in them for that brindle coloring...I would just say hound/lab/boxer cross...you wont get in any trouble with landlords with those 3!

Thanks for the responses. I decided not to keep this one, there are several others chomping at the bit for them and it's easier for them to take them than for me to drive the 3 hours to Miami to pick her up. But I did get full permission to look at the local shelters and find something smaller to adopt. I have a sheltie and would like another dog that is more matched in size and personality.

pups

There probably a mix between at least 3 breeds. The long ears ,houndish face and brindle color points in that direction. Nice looking pups though.

I don't see any traces of pits so your good to go. but pits are so misunderstood one of the easiest and well tempered dogs out there. there is no bad pet only bad owners if you support aggressive behaivor then thats what you get if you don't you get a mellow dog. no matter what the breed all pets can be aggresive just look at my two male veileds full of piss and vinegar. to be on the safe side there is a type of dog food you should get for big breeds it slows their growth and helps keep them from getting joint an hip displasia. you can get it at petsmart my ex use to breed bull mastiffs and thats what she uses. also looks like a mix between a mastiff and boxer maybe a bit of lab due to its big ears.

Adorable!! They look houndy with those ears and at that size will probably max out around 60lbs or so. They look a lot like my pup did with head shape and ear size. I could see some pit in there maybe though, especially the one on the left.

Aww Ferret, what a cute dog!

Allen, I don't have anything against Pits but they're not allowed in any apartment complex I've ever been to and I'm doing nothing but renting, probably for another few years. So I can't get a dog that is going to make something as basic as renting a place to live a nightmare. I helped my boyfriend at the time adopt and raise a lab x pit/american bulldog and she's a great dog, super sweet and goofy. But I also don't have the strength of character to have a bully breed, it takes assertiveness to keep them (any any dog, to varying degrees) well trained and behaved. I like my sheltie because she's such a naturally submissive breed that I don't even have to stern my voice to correct her, she respects me with much less "dominance" than what would be required with a bully breed.
