I don't think my veiled chameleon is.drinking her water and I'm worried!!! I bought a plant for her cage but its to big so I just have fake vines in there now and no matter how much I spray them they dry pretty fast and when ever I mist her cage she just runs from the water... I don't know what to do I'm really worried..

What do her droppings look like? Is there a white section, or is it yellowy or orange?

Are her eyes sunken in?
Are her urates white?
If the answers are no and yes respectively, then she is fine.
you wont always see her drink.
My cham would run from the mistings too.
What is your misting schedule? how often, how long?

Make sure the water is warm, get more plants because she'll get stressed if she can't hide, and use a dripper, mist kind, repti fogger, or give her water slowly with a medicine thing for kids.

how big is the cage first of all? Get a smaller plant or plants. You cannot just have vines in there. They need places to hide and hang out and feel secure. Get a dripper and drip the water on to the vine. Also, is your cham removeable from his cage?. If so, stick him on the plant and mist the the plant leaves, see if he will lick the leaves after you mist them.

Do you have a dripper? Chams don't need to drink much at all, and often do it when nobody's looking.........

Try to spray slowly over the ceiling of the cage so that big drops hang down from the ceiling. That is how our Rufus loves to drink

you can trim the plant down. what kind of plant did you get?

if you dont have money for a dripper just put a cup on top of the cage with a little hole in the bottom.

Woah lol ok yes her poop is black and white...her cage is 18w*18l*30h I gave up n put her hibiscus in her cage today but I haven't got back from work to see if she's on it when I left this morning she wouldn't get on it... I mist 2/3 a day not for long cause the leafs just drip n when I stop spraying they jus dry up so I didn't know what to do.... I don't have a dripper yet but I am gonna get one.... oh another question even with my ac on 24/7 her cage day n night is in a 5 degree difference and I know its supposed to be a bigger difference but I am freezing at night cause I don't usually have my ac on so what should I do for that?

Ok. first. woosa! breathe! Everything wil be ok!
Now. if her urates are white, she is hydrated. Just because you dont see her drink, does not mean she isnt.
Her cage size sounds fine.
Mist for about 3-5 minutes, until it looks like you watered the plant, then leave it be. I mist about 5 times a day for about 30 sec to 2 min, depending on the temps. ( I keep my guy outside alot, natural sunshine is good)
But I also have a dripper that goes from lights on to lights off. this way, even if the leaves dry, ther eis still water.
As for the temps. during the day, temps should be no higher than 85. but the whole cage should not be this warm, the lower parts of the cage should get cooler.
yes, chams like a 10-15 deg temp drop at night. However, as long as your cham seems to sleep just fine, its ok. If your cage temp during the day is around 80, and the night time temp drops to 75, its still ok.
SInce you are freezing at night, just turn your ac down. you dont HAVE to do a 15 deg night time temp. many times my cage only drops about 5 deg at night, and i have ac going keeping it at 72 all the time.
