i did not see her drink any on sunday. she was active and drinking on friday but things just seemed to get bad fast

Sorry for your little one not being in a good shape.

I think your feeders could be a bit bigger. She is not that tiny to go with fruit flies or pinheads anymore. She looks very skinny on the pictures at least.

Regarding the closed eyes, I would use Reptisun 5.0 instead. 10.0 has double the UVB output, which might be too much for your baby Cham.

Not sure about your supplements. I would use plain calcium without d3 daily and calcium with d3 twice a month and a multivit twice a month. I agree your feeders are too small. It's good fun to see them catching fruit flys but they are not all that filling. She needs to eat as much as she wants at her age. A red heat lamp is not necessary, an ordinary house bulb is fine. Temps at basking area should be 80-84 and temps at night can drop as far as low 50s.

I agree with the other member and get a 5.0 instead of a 10.0. It might be bothering her eyes. If she cannot open her eyes she cannot see to eat. I would take an eye dropper and try dripping water on her nose. Let it drip o there for a few minutes to try stimulate her to drink.

thank you. I found a 5.0 bulb that we had and switched it over this morning. i tried dripping h2o on here nose a couple times already but as yet no such luck. i am heading to the store now and will pick up some bigger feeders. I also moved her to a completely closed off room (the bath room) where i can control the humidity of the entire room.( I let the shower run on hot tell the h2o went cold. Thank you for the advice on supplements as well i will up the amount that i am giving her. Now here is the other problem when i was cleaning her cage this morning i found some mold under the potted plant that was in there. Could this have any thing to do with how she is behaving? everything has been disinfected and a new plant is being used until i can re-pot that one. Once again thank you so much.

Mould definitely is a problem in the long run - especially in a glass terrarium. But I would say not the reason for the current problem of your Cham.

:D Hello, sorry you baby isn't feeling well. The advice you are getting is great and hope you follow through. She does look tiny and thin. After she starts showing improvement(Not now) You need to get a new UVB 5.o. They start not being as effective after 6months. But is should be fine for a little while. I find when our Zeke isn't drinking as well, using a hand sprayer very slow soft sprays with warm water works better. I just get the $1 ones at Walmart. It may take the first bottle of spraying before drinking so have extra water for refill. Hope she's feeling better soon.

Frances is not getting any better in fact i think she is getting worse. where she was not eating that night i went out and bought Flukers Repta-Boost. when i got home i manged to get a very small amount in to her. ( I just don't know how to open here mouth with out hurting ) after that she seemed a little better. same thing next day i could get so in but not a lot however looked a little better afterwards. Today how ever way worse. I have come to the conclusion that it is MBD I though i was giving her enough calcium and there was always a UVB bulb on her but i must have been wrong. Well with this being the case now i really don't know how to get her to open her mouth so i can get some nutrients and a liquid calcium supplement in to her. Today she was barely opening her eyes now not really at all but the thing is she wont stop moving and she is really unbalanced. she even tries to reach up and climb when there is nothing in front of her like she can clime the air. this of course is when she loses her balance and falls forward. I just don't know how she went from happy apparently healthy to this in such a short time. I really cant lose my little girl right now so any advice further you could give me is very appreciated. and to those of you who feel it necessary to criticize with your helping comments go ahead i have no fight left in me i deserve any and all comments you want to make.
THANK YOU
