Please help me ID this plant--

So I went to my local Home Depot and bought this plant under the understanding that the tag and the plant would be the same... but now that I have my Schefflera at home, I'm not so sure.

The tag has this labeled as Schefflera arboricola but I'm worried that it may be a Schefflera actinophylla

Can anyone tell me definitively one way or another? Is there a different photo I should take that would help? I wouldn't want to throw a toxic plant in with my guys on accident!

Thanks!!!!!!!!

I don't see how there's any way that could be Schefflera arboricola. I searched Schefflera actinophylla on google and the leaves look identical; except for your last pic where the leaves look a little pointed. Maybe it's just because it's new growth, but the bigger leaves look exactly the same how they drape down.

That is a Schefflera actinophylla. You need to either return it for a Schefflera arboricola, or you can plant the one you have outside and just buy a Schefflera arboricola. When you go back, regardless, when you go to get one, look for much smaller leaves, a bushier type plant, and bi-colored leaves (however, the leaves may be all the same colors, but usually, they are bi-colored).
