Like I said in the other thread..... At that size there would be color, especially if he was ticked at you. From pic 3..... just the size of the head and the overall shape of the body tells me you have a female. I wouldnt say the shop cheated you....Purposely anyway... They are just uninformed or got sent a female by accident.... I would calmly just inform them of thier mistake. You may be able to make a trade here with someone..... BUT how do you know its actually a Nosey??? They dont know ...

He checked the catalogs and he told me there were NOSEY BEs available at this age/sex.

Well...... If they got the sex wrong.... There is no telling if they got the Locale correct! Tough to trade off a female if you arent 100% sure of its locale. At the price you payed.... you could have gotten a "FOR SURE" deal from 1 of the Sponsors here

Yea, looks female. See if you can't come to an agreement with the shop to trade for a male or get a refund on the price difference between a male and a female. And then get a male from the site sponsors (or like from the Chameleon Company for $150, for example) and have a pair.

The guy emailed me back and asked why he thought everyone thought it was a female. I told him the tail base and color. He said that he assumed it was female because he got it from his trusted supplier him like me didn't pay much attention and just assumed. You know what happens when you ASSume.
Anyway. He is gonna find me a male to do a swap. I'll be sure to post some pics. Thanks guys. Without you I would have been waiting for "her" to get colors only to find that it would have never happened.

Thats great your seller is going to swap for you....What happens to the female after you give her back? Is she going back to the original seller? Or is he going to put her up for sale in the store? Looks like you were taking good care of her..... Hope she gets the same from someone else.

Not sure. I said id take care of her until he got the male in. He had a female already in the store. The sad thing is that she has been in there for a while. He was asking 260. IMO nobody is gonna pay that for a brown chameleon. I will post new pics when he comes in! Not sure when that will be though
