I am new to this website, and I need help please!
I have a veiled chameleon, I've had her for about 3 years and got her through craigslist from these little boys who couldn't take care of her properly and i know they had her for about a year. So lets say she's about 3-5 years old. I know... she probably doesn't have much longer.

Here's the problem. I've taken her to the vet several times, she's had an eye infection for over a year and the eyeball is completely clogged with a hard sebum-like thing, and yes ive tried rinsing it with solution, yes ive had her on antibiotics, yes, ive tried supplements... ive tried it all. now the other eye is like that, so now shes completely blind, her tail is broken (poor thing it doesnt curl properly now) and shes weak. she still eats but i feel she hates her life and is suffering. its hard to watch honestly and i love her to death but i think i need to put her down. i dont want her to suffer anymore. PLEASE SOMEONE TELL ME MY OPTIONS.HELP!

Your options are pretty limited. Is there a good/better vet you can see? Maybe your vet it great, I just don't know. If you think seeing another vet won't help, then you have to make a decision for your chameleon. Only you can decide what to do, we don't know your cham and all that has happened. I make a decision when to put one of my beloved chams down based on my determination of their quality of life and will to live. Those are both completely subjective things that you have to evaluate, if they are the measurement you chose to use. From all that you have said, if it were my cham, I would have it put down. There comes a point when I just can't watch any animal suffer. A lot of people here will disagree with me, so it is back to you making a decision. Sorry that you have to make a decision that none of us ever want to make.
