I scheduled an appointment for a vet. He's not eating and he seems sick. It's in a few hours and I completely didn't think about what I'm going to put my Cham in to get him to the appointment. I've only handled him a few times and he always seemed pretty scared. When I took him out back once he was almost terrified, doing nothing but hissing, scared out of his mind. What should I put my chameleon in to get him to the vet and back?

Yes, keeping it dark would be good. You can put a vine in there if you want. It will make him more comfortable to have something to grip.

I kinda like what biffle's recent chams were shipped in. They had a branch running horizontal thru the container. I would use paper towel flooring, lightly moistened. Make use of the vine, but not too much of it. Cut it if necessary. Don't overpopulate the container. I would use the larger critter keeper carrier, if he is smaller. If large, go to walmart, and get the $1.97 sterlite bin that is dark colored 12"l x 8"w x12"h (estimate). Enough room to feel safe. Couple holes in top, if you need to make your own.
