Plasticy smell in my resovoir.

Hey I recently switched to a bigger and more air restricted resovoir, and I am noticing a plasticy smell. When the lid is closed then opened.

Anyone know if this will be harmful or how to remove it? The new Bin is a Ziploc weather shield. It's #5 plastic so should be good safe and BPA free, plastic.

However that Plastic smell is horrendous when it's been closed up a few days and then opened.

Nope.

Cold water straight from the RO.

I planned to get a better resovoir, an RV water storage tank, and I have a 5 gallon one here now, that I made into a fogger. Going to use that as a Resovoir for now, and replace it in a couple weeks with the 13 gallon I have had my eye on. So I ordered the fittings to use both of them with 1/4 tube (needed to do that with fogger as well anyway) Amazon prime last night.
