Plants: Best ones?

I've been experimenting with plants as I am building a new "mega cage", lol. What plants are the best to use? What are all the plant options? Any one discover different effects, benefits,cons about certain plants? (I built a cage with a 2ft by 4.5ft base and 4.5ft in height so my plant options are unlimited, so throw it at me!)

Most members use Pothos, Umbrella plants, hibiscus, and ficus'. Hibiscus require more light than the other plants, they can get big though. The sap from the ficus can cause skin/eye irritation, so you have to make sure it doesn't snap anywhere. They're trees so they also can get big. The pothos is viney and can be hung and can become very long. I believe you have to have a specific species of umbrella plant because the others are toxic, but I could be wrong. They're like a bush and can get pretty big.

I like pothos best. Also use fiscus (only with those not inclined to break or eat the leaves and branches). and schefflera is popular also.

Me too. Its a very forgiving low light plant.

Try this low light combo. Umbrella plant and ginger surrounded by pothos in a giant pot. That's what I use in my cage.
