if i am buying a schefflera and a pothos pant for an enclosure, would i need to buy a differnt type of light than a basking and uvb or would they grow fine with those two lights?

You need a grow light. whatever flourescent hood you have, find a 6500k tube that fits.

A pothos with grow just fine without a grow light. With one, it will grow GREATLY.
