Plant question (about to purchase need a quick answer)

I'm at home depot and I know schefflera arbicola is fine...if it says schefflera arbicola, umbrella plant is it safe to say its okay to buy?

Yes, Umbrella plant is the common name. Ficus, Pothos and Hibiscus are also safe. It is the Schefflera Actinophylla that is the toxic one.
