Plant possibility question

I have been looking through the forums and other resources with plant lists, and I haven't found one specific plant: mountain laurel. I would love to bulk up the vegetation in my habitat, and these plants are all over where I live...thought it might be a nice, easy, and cheap way to provide lots of leaves and branches quickly. There doesn't seem to be anything that says whether they are good or bad for chameleons. Does anyone have any thoughts?

The flowers kind of worry me especially if you have a veiled who might chew them, but I wouldn't risk it.

Mountain laurel and rhododendron are both from the same family and have a toxin that is in the leaves. I would not risk putting this item in her enclosure. We had a rescue on here not to long ago who had lesions all over his body from a rhododendron. There are other woody plants that can go in the tank such as ficus, schefflera, pothos and hibiscus.

Dried branch's work really well for cages. Just make sure they have no green living center when using them. I put the branch's in the oven on low for a few hours to make sure they are completely dried.

Glad I asked!!! I'll stick with the tried and true on the lists then haha I have an umbrella plant, but it is so small right now; I'm impatient! I'll keep shopping around and see if I can find some larger, safe items to incorporate.
Thank you everyone!
