plant light

I think any of the general use tube fluorescent "grow lites" should be OK. Very high intensity lights for cacti or succulents might not be as safe.

ok i just want to make sure because i know that the light spectrum is a bit different then the reptisun 5.0 so if anyone has had some good luck with anything could they send a pick of it to me just dont want to get something for plants that could harm him

the only difference in lights that contain uvb is the heat spectrum(no not heat like ouch hot, i mean color wise its called kelvin levels) no matter what light you use, make sure its intensity is not too strong ( plants and chameleons are not much different in uvb requirements..plants just need more as they produce their bodies and food from light, and chameleons use it for bone growth and digestive reasons) most plant lights you will find will be fine..unless you are not talking about incandecent lights but are indeed talking about the higher output h.i.d. lighting witch is mercury vapor, metal hilide, and high pressure sodium..the latter not used for animals ad its kelvin level is very red or "hot" ..

if this is just a simple home depot screws into your standard house socket "plant" bulb 60watts..its fine..
