Plant Identification.

Hello Friends,

I would greatly appreciate some aide in confirming what plants these are. I need both the species and supbspecies of plant. I have an idea of what they might be, but for the sake of the answer I won't say and hope that you are in agreement with me. I thought I knew what one was for sure but the person who bought it is telling me otherwise- which means it may have been mislabled.

It obviously is, but without knowing the subspecies, this means nothing.

Is it Schefflera arboricola?It seems to me that it is, it looks veryy similar

I am not sure, but the second plant may be a Schefflera actinophylla. The leaves seem kind of thin and long. I am not a plant expert though, so I would seek further advice

As I said before, its obviously an umbrella plant. Which species is the deciding factor.

Secondly, the darkness is just in the photos.

Hi Will,

I think the vining plant pictured first is one of the philodendrons. Which one is a big question.. there are a few hundred varieties, I think. Maybe the heart leaf one, but I have never seen any with those pretty red shafts on them. If you are looking for a home for some cuttings off of it, let me know! It is beautiful.
