Can you trim down umbrella plants without killing them? My plant is as tall as my cage now with the new pot its in

i have cut mine back but they r very slow to start again from that point, i find if you cut the think part it doesnt reallt start to grow again there

you all need to come to Florida! I have the umbrella plants growing in my yard and outdoor enclosure and I have to cut them back constantly! they grow like weeds!!! It doesn't matter where I cut them! lol!

Do umbrella plants need extra light? I have just the basking light and 1 30 inch fixture with 24in reptisun
