I am going through Alaska airline, and I was wondering if I could take my cham?
It is my first year with him and I don’t just want to leave him here. What should I do?

you would have to call the airlines and see if it would even be allowed. Then you would need a total cage set up there. Or you just leave him at home with your dad and teach him how to care for him while your gone.

Like @Beman said, I'd call the airline to see what their policy is. That's the first step.
The second step would be to determine if it's logistically feasible. I've never tried to take a cham on an airplane and I have no idea how they would tolerate it. My guess is it would probably be stressful for them.

ive done a 2 day road trip with my chameleons but never on a plane, it was so stressful on them :/
