He looks so tiny! Is he close enough to his uvb do you think? It’s about a foot above him.

Not to worry—he'll grow into it... FAST!

Yes, I’m going to Lowe’s in a bit and try to find a trellis or something and some plants and dowels. I’ll get it figured out, it’s a work in progress but he seems to like it. He’s been exploring today.
Good. Some alternatives to trellis...
Ceiling egg crate—I have it up the back wall for the climbers.
Dowels or bamboo stakes can be zip-tied into a trellis.
Untreated wooden—or vinyl—lattice is another option.

The Egg crate and/or lattice can be gotten at Lowes.

Someone on here, I have a hard time remembering names, thought he was between nine months to a year even though he’s so small so I don’t know if he’s had bad care or not enough food and I don’t knowhow much bigger he’ll get because of that. I guess all that effects their size.

I did get dowels to use in his enclosure to but I have to cut them down a bit. I looked and looked for taller plants and even small ones to hang on the lattice. Their like looking for a needle in a hay stack!

Roughly-sanded bamboo branches (Home Depot has 6' bundles for cheap) and a variety of other species and diameters of branches will be a benefit. Just like feeder types and gutload ingredients, a variety is best. If you have a garden center near you, they could sell some big pothos and/or philodendron (that you can hang as one plant and/or split it up) and tall schefflera arboricolas

i have scoured Home Depot and a green house garden center nearby and wal mart. I got what I could that you can see in the picture. They just didn’t have big ones. In his enclosure are 2 schefflera and two money trees. i also picked up some natural branches from a woody area near where I live and washed them good in soap and water and zip tied them in his enclosure after they dried.. I found a little Ivy plant to hang but I have to look it up to see if it’s safe or not. I also found a small dracaena deremensis. I have to look that up as well.

His lights are out now because it’s almost 7 pm. I will get pics tomorrow. I haven’t cut the dowels down yet either. Not looking forward to that! I also forgot to make drainage holes in the floor of his enclosure. Sigh. If it’s not one thing it’s another! I have a lot to do tomorrow.

It'll all be alright! I'm sure everything will turn out great and be worth the work, I believe in you!

I’m 54 and my body feels so very much like 80, but in my head I can still do all that I did when I was 25. The day I accept that I am older and can’t do what I want is the day that I will be old and not able to do anything. Stay young! 💗

To make him feel more comfortable, you can try using a shower curtain that isn't see-through. I use a white shower curtain that isn't see-through which makes him feel less vulnerable. Instead of being wary of all 4 sides, he only has to worry about 1 side (the front) being visible. It just acts as another barrier between him and the outside world.

@Klyde O'Scope had a lot of great ideas when I asked about alternatives to Dragon Ledges for mounting plants - both vinyl lattice and goat wire fencing were suggested. My plan was good go with vinyl lattice, but I actually ended up with 4 individual pieces of coated wire garden fencing, zip ties and 4 wooden dowels. Hard to explain what I have in mind for it all here, but I can take pictures of it put together if that would be helpful.

You’re on top of Eustis’s care, you’ll find him all the plants he needs! He’s such a cute little guy. Jackson’s are one of my favorite species by far. Lucky you!
