One of my friends came over to take some photos of my critters. Here is a small sample of some unedited photos that she took.

One heck of a photo shoot. I like the one of the mantis, the snail, and the one where the panther is drinking. That little tongue flap

She was using a Canon 5D Mark II. Yes she did use two different lenses, and 1 was her macro lens that had a ring flash on it.

Thanks everyone, I love the photos too. And as she gets better with her new equipment they will get even better. Hopefully next time we can get that tongue shot perfect.

Your friend has an awesome camera (makes me want one) and the pictures are beautiful. The mantid is creepily horrifyingly awesome! Is this a pet or food? Also what are the fuzzy caterpillars?

The mantids are food, I dont have the patience to keep them as pets. The caterpillars are newly hatched silk worms.
