First pic is our female Athena, not her most flattering angle but one that is definitely posting worthy. Others are of her telling my wife to get the camera outta her face.

i feel like as long as the chameleon is not shying away or becoming aggressive, pictures are fine :). that's what i learned about my cham, but when she gets scared we take that as a sign to leave her alone.
