phosphorous

sorry about this but its not a multi vitamin its calcuim with d3 in it and it has phosphorous is it safe to give her?

There must be phosphorus. Chameleons (not only them, even we) need phosphorus to absorb calcium! So it´s allright when it´s part of chameleons food. ;) .

However, the reason we avoid phospherous in supplements is because the insects we feed already contain a high amount.
You are trying to achieve the proper ratios between phospherous and calcium and the phos. in insects is so high that if you add more .....

I also bought another calcium dust. Now I have two. One has D3 and the other is just plain calcium. They are both phosphorus free. Which one should I use?

Use the one without D3 more often (even 3 or 4 times a week) and the one with D3 once a week or once every 10 to 14 days.
