They're safe, but I wouldn't feed them too often. They have a really hard outer shell and are hard to digest. If you decide to feed them to your girl, make sure you poke a few pin holes in the worm with a straight pin so it's easier to digest them for her. Other than that, keep an eye on her stools to make sure she does digest them
