Omg I could name so many things wrong with that set up, but I think if I do i'll have a coronary
I wish I could save all chams who have to live like that :(

The one at my Petsmart, well not my petsmart, at least has the watering right...that baby could drown...

Some people say ignorance is bliss....well I say, ignorance gets you punched in the face...

haha i love trying to sound intimidating. It doesnt work lol :p

They may be required by law or policy to provide a water dish. Customers may also be concerned about the animal not having a water dish if they don't provide one. Also keep in mind it is a temporary set up and the animal is not meant to be there long. The way they keep it in the store doesn't mean they will give out improper care instructions to the new owner, but more often than not (on here anyways) they do.

Everytime I see petsmart and their conditions that everything is kept in, I get so irritated. I know they have the knowledge they just choose not to use it.

Thats true. But sometimes the babies stay there soooo long it breaks my heart. I wish I could take them all home! but there is this evil thing that looks like this $$$$$ that defeats me everytime. :p

I think I've seen worse. They appear to have UV there. But, damn - it looks like a child had made it. A stupid child. For his toy soldiers, not a live animal.

Petsmart - nomenclature gone haywire. I base this opinion solely on threads I see here, but how are they still in business? surely it requires some sort of competence. Not just marketing prowess. Say it ain't so........

Thats about what the enclosure at the Petsmart looked like when I bought Rango...When he came home he was climbing all around his cage...so excited to have space and a dripper to drink from!

Honestly that one is a gold mine compared to some of the ones I have seen at PetCo. I saw one at Petco a few months back where there was literally a branch and a water dish and the Jacksons Chameleon was laying on the floor sleeping at like 2 in the afternoon. I really hate that stuff. Gets old real fast.
