hey guys a recently bought a veild Cham from pet smart. Got him home everything was fine incloser setup lights monsoon. After the first or second night he was eating well. Then I started to hear like a whistling noise so I though he was dehydrated so I started putting his crickets in a cut water bottle with water and he was eating them out of that guessing he was getting water. But I started reading and I start thinking it's a ri so emailed the closest vet but it was the weekend still waiting for a reply back then I noticed there was a lump or a bump on his neck. Pour guys just having a rough time.

Please describe your husbandry and your cage setup in detail. We can't do much to help you without a lot more information. "Whistling" could mean a lot of things....simply hissing at something that he thinks is a threat, a partially blocked nostril from old shed skin, calcium salt, or a respiratory infection. It sounds as if you have a sick cham that might have been ill before you even got him. If he was eating crix that had drowned in the water bottle he could be eating decaying food. Not great. PetSmart chams are not well cared for at all.

Crickets in the water drawing can also carry lots parasites or bacteria and once ur cham ate the dirty feeders those parasites will transfer into ur cham ,and all sorts problems can happen just because the dirty crickets being eaten.
