Pet Stores stopped selling Zoomed UVBs

One of my reptisun uvb 5.0s went out and I didnt have any replacements left. So I stopped in all 4 pet stores by my house and they quit carrying zoomed linear uvb bulbs. All the stores replaced the zoomed w/ exo terra bulbs. What the heck the zoomeds specs are clearly better. Now I have to order a new shipment of bulbs.

Theyre way cheaper online anyway, and your chams will be fine without uvb until you receive the replacements.

Well, I suppose because the typical pet store doesn't know or care about the difference in the bulbs. Also, to the stock manager's eye the coil or incandescent bulbs take up less shelf space, are cheaper to ship, and they seem like more of a bargain to the uninformed buyer. You'd think they might want to sell fluorescent tube lights so they could also sell you a fixture but maybe not.
