Anyone know or would be interested in a local chameleon club? Check out each other's setups, local stores, maybe breed, etc.?

We could just set up a forum like this one for the area. This way we can buy and ship together, mass purchase live feed and new equipment or cages. Let me know if anyone is interested.

Note - Sorry, if I put this in the wrong place but the main purpose would be for discussion and breeding. Please feel free to move.

It's a good/fun idea. The forums are great but we felt that even more could be accomplished in person. Bulk buys is one example. Some of us have been putting together a "Group" out here in Southern California around the area called the South Bay which could be described as south of LAX encompassing an area of a half dozen cities or so. We kicked it off with a simple chameleon article in the local newspaper, created by one of their reporters and photographers. I guess that Monday was a slow news day because it ended up on the front page with big photos! Responses were directed to a Gmail account: [email protected] and we'll be officially announcing our first get-together soon. It'll be in late September. More info to follow in another post later this week .

It's amazing how quick threads die around here sometimes.

Well I'm from Pittsburgh and know of one guy in the area that has Panthers and a few with Veileds.

I am currently looking for a male ambilobe blue bar to stud for my so an endeavor like this would have helped.
