So i woke up this morning and Vert (my 2 month old veiled) was pitch black i figured he had a bad night sleeping but no he started sheding his skin after 3 days of having him in my care he is itching himself on his biovine. should i keep misting him at the normal time? Should i wait till he is done sheding?

misting him a bit more helps a lot, but dont start pulling on the loose skin yourself, you can injure your chameleon, when the skin is really loose you can help him a bit but mostly it will be done fast en well enough by themselfs.

ive left him alone he started about an hour ago and his legs and tail are done and his body and head are almost done now

Make sure that the cage has time to dry out between mistings though. This will help the skin to dry and flake off. I love it when Amy sheds! she's due another really soon and I can't wait!:D

When Amy was small she shed every months. She is now almost 8 months old and hasn't shed for almost 3 months! My last adult female shed every 3 months too. They shed more often as babies as they grow very fast. Although, as adults they are constantly growing, the rate of growth slows right down so they don't need to shed so often. Chams are so cool! I find shedding fascinating!:D

Now he is eating. My girlfriend told me snakes eyes shed and have a hard time seeing, i was wondering if chams do this too? maybe thats why he has only ate once since i got him

Their eye turrets shed, but not their actual eyeballs. They can go off of their food just before a shed. They can also get a bit grumpy too, lol!:D
