Current Problem - He's been sick, the vet didn't tell me exactly what it was, just said it was a virus and wants a fecal on tuesday. I'm worried because the reason i took him to the vet is that his hemiphene is sticking out, but the vet said it was from straining to poo, so i thought ok impacted, so to help she gave us Mineral oil (.2ml 1x daily.) and and antibiotic for the virus (.25ml 1x daily). The antibiotic helped his appetite, but he still has only pooed once since the vet (two weeks tuesday) and non before that. when he did it was pebbley (vet said due to straining). His color is better and he's more active but his hemephene is sticking out more not going back in and its swollen and he's sleeping ALOT, 2hrs before the lights go off is the earliest i have caught him, but he may be going to sleep sooner! It's as if the only reason he is waking up is to say "mommy i'm hungry" and then eat and take medicines. I'm really worried, he is my baby and i dont want to lose him.
