Parsons Winter Temperatures

Hello everyone,

Now that winter is approaching, for you Parsons owners I was wondering what's the lowest temps you're keeping Parsons at?

Thanks in advance.

I wait untill they have stopped eating for a month or so before dropping the temps below 60 at night.

Jann cool him off slowly over the next month if he turns black at night thats a good sign he is on the cool side.

Well it started to drop to the low to mid 50's at night here near the beaches of SoCal so I decided I should bring my big male indoors into my garage. Daytime temps are in the low 70's with a couple of days near 80.

It was still eating though when it was still in its outdoor GOC, not everyday but I would say every 2 or 3 days.

I brought my male in a few days ago and brought the last two females into the garage tonight. I've had one female in a laying enclosure for a couple weeks now and she was scouting around in the soil this afternoon, fingers crossed.:)

Oh wow! How exciting!?! Best wishes!

Should young parsons and babies go that low? I was thinking I shouldn't cool down Cooper this year.

Hey Jann, I still keep my little Sweat Pea in my garage. The temps in my garage have dropped a little but not much. It still eats mostly everyday so I doubt the minor temp change thus far has affected it much.
