Parsonii digging!

This is Sif, 4 year old parsonii. Color has changed recently and lots of roaming,which is unusual for these guys. I didn't witness any actual breeding but she is pretty big and has been recently digging in 3 different pots.Sorry for the bad pics but if anyone has seen a gravid parsonii feel free to comment.

She's got eggs. 30 to 40 by the looks of it. Or she needs to go on a diet.

Congrats Chuck ! Shes definitly gravid. Whats really important now: Make some visual barriers so that she has no visual contact to other chameleons and as less as possible with you. Parsonii females tend to have problems during this phase and you ahve to be cery carefull. I would offer several different substrats. Sand for kinds playgrounds is a good substrate, especially when you can desinfect it inside an oven. A spot near the ground is important too. Gravid females often use them to get their body temperature higher again when they are on the relative cold ground.
Those are main points from two very succesfull parsonii breeders from Germany. Hope it helps

Go into the breeding section of the forum, and on the upper left you should see a "new thread" button, and you're set
