Parasite...Something?

My boy has always been a picky, borderline anorexic and after many husbandry checks, three trips to the vet, and a couple of negative fecal checks, we still have not figured out why. I found this on the bottom of the enclosure. Although he has had fecal checks and they never came back positive, I thought maybe the sample wasn't fresh enough, the test wasn't right, etc. I'm actually hoping this is a parasite because that would mean a visible, fixable problem. He is a little lethargic, I haven't caught him with his eyes closed but I have bought him curled up in sleeping position and colors. He is also pretty small for his age. Is this a parasite? Pics attached.

it does not really look like a pinworm - but its hard to see in the pic too- was it moving ? was it in his fecal ? how does his poo smell - does it have an oder ( worse than normal ? ) its all about the poop ya know- LOL
my panther Max had a single-cell flagellate parasite - he had 3 neg/ fecal test - this was found in the "standing " matter on the 4th test - he is being treated now for it - but even tho he kept having neg/ test- I KNEW something was going on- can you save that and show it to your vet ? that almost looks like plant matter

Darn-- I figured out what it was. You are right, it is plant matter, it is the root from a bamboo plant. I guess it's back to the drawing board.

And no, not the bamboo plant in the background :) he has two bamboos going horizontally across his cage, must have rubbed off on the screen or something. Thanks guys :/
