Can Parasites cause one of the eyes to be closed sometimes during the day?

Howdy,
Often times chameleon eye closure signifies a general poor health condition that is severe enough that their response is to close one or two eyes. Think of it like a human frown or wince. Since parasites, especially when the count is very high, can make a chameleon feel sick then it is possible that eye closure is related to parasite loading. But don't let that stop you from looking into other reasons while you work on the parasite problem.
I recall you mentioning that you were concerned that you might be overdosing your chameleon with a 0.06 ml dose of Panacur. It is highly unlikely since Panacur has a very wide margin for overdose error. Even 3x is not even close to being an issue. A common dose is 1cc of Panacur per Kg of chameleon weight. You really want to continue treatment if your vet prescribed it. One schedule is to treat for 3 days and again in 2 weeks.

Can it be associated with vitamin a dificiency, he was getting better but has relapsed. he had a shot of panacur on friday .06 and one on sunday of .06 , should i begin a new 3 day cycle, or give it again for a third day not in a row. When i place him out of cage in direct sun he tends to open his eyes more. they are getting direct sun for about 9:00 am to 1 pm and then the sun moves and they are coverred by bushes , should they need more exposure to the sun. I am also giving him gentamicin and he opens the eyes right after the drops, he used to rob his eye agaisnt branches. I also paced the dripper today for the first time and increased the water to 4 times 10 minutes each. They told me before the wind might also cause eye problem. I was thinking of taking them both inside and have them with reptisun tubes for a while what you think, i have move them 3 times in a month to look for the best light exposure and less heat exposure.
