Panthers & Vieled

Is there any difference between keeping a Veiled chameleon and an ambilobe panther chameleon or is it basically the same (temperature, diet and humidity wise).

Also on average how big does a panther get?

I ask because I was going to get a veiled chameleon but then I saw just how gorgeous the amibilobe panthers are and i had a little change of heart (I am still very happy as to own a veiled though!)

Also is one easier to take care of than the other?

Thanks so much!

They are typically the same in husbandry. However, panthers basking temps are a bit lower. 80 and they're happy:)

Some other members probably have a care sheet I can't access on my phone. :)

Oh! And temperament!! Panthers are less hateful (note some panthers will be just as hateful as veileds)

Also, Veileds are not hateful. Ever. :D
Sometimes someone invades their territory and makes them scared or nervous. Sometimes they get defensive. Sometimes someone gets bitten (never the lizards fault :D). Not very often though, if you respect your cham enough to leave him in peace most of the time.
And panthers need higher humidity.

Oh yes, they are grumpy sometimes.....:D I do think in general panthers are slightly more relaxed about people. I never kept a panther so I have no experience. Still, as Lionel Hutz would say 'Hearsay and conjecture are kinds of evidence'
