Panther Shedding = Itchy?

Hi guys, was just wondering if chameleons get an itchy feeling when they shed? My panther likes(by the looks of it) scratching lightly by his neck where he shed, haha he even griped my finger and moved it to the "itchy" area by his neck as of to say that i was doing a crappy job at scratching. As soon as i scratch the area he pushes against my finger and rubs his neck against it.

Yes they do itch when they are shedding. I just give them lots of extra mistings. I really hate it the most when they rub their edges on the branches. Be careful helping him shed, it can hurt the Cham if you try to remove skin that is not completely lose.

yeah i've seen him scraping against branch edges, i normally help him only taking off the dry very white bits that seem to annoy him.
