I have had my panther for just over a week now shes been eating very well after the first few days and she drinks very well but about just an hour ago at the bottom of the cage i noticed a lot of yellow in the poop and I have read that it usually means that there is something wrong.

Any help on how to fix this would be greatly appreciated.

was there a brown part attached to the yellow? the yellow was probably the urate and that just means your chameleon could use a little more water.

It didnt look like a lot of yellow just a little tinge of yellow mostly white. But I will try spraying her a bit more today. Thank you :)

If it was just a touch of yellow a few more spraying will have her back to where she should be in nothing flat. I is really good to watch your cham and see anything that might be wrong before it really becomes a problem, you did great.:)

Thank you very much! :) its good to hear that I'm doing it right.

You can always take the urates to your vet to get it tested. Some people just do so periodically to check for parasite loads and anything else that may be wrong. It's usually pretty cheap, and gives you a good indication of your chams health.

You may want to check into using a dripper if you don't already. It gives them more time to drink. You can make one yourself with a plastic cup or container, use a pin and puncture the bottom. fill with water and place it where it will drip over some leaves. I heard somewhere a little faster then a drip per minute is good.
