Thank you in advance.

I would say some sore of mix. It definitely has some kind of east coast locale in him because of the amount of white on the dorsal crest. That is a trait of things like maroantsetra and tamatave.

I would say "no" to ambilobe

I was thinking Maroantsetra as well, but I'd have to admit Chris would know better than I.

you mentioned " morph " did you know it was a mix?

where did you get the fella, and what did seller tell you?

Some people use the term "morph" instead of Locale (which he used in the body of the thread).
And some use it in terms of Hybrids (mixing of locales).
In this case I believe he meant first definition I gave.

Whatever he is, he has some nice colors.

Thanks, he is supposedly a Picasso, but it appears that there is a lot of variation inside the ambilobe locale, so I don't know for sure. And yes, I used morph instead of locale.

I've found some pics of him when he was younger, do you think that he can be a Picasso or he is really a cross?
Thank you

picasso is just another name for a red bar Ambilobe, in his baby pictures he does looke a bit like a red bar, but I would have to go with everybody eles and say he is a mix. I am far from an expert with morphs though.
