Panther juvenile male or female?

Hi I recently bought a little nosy mitsio, the pet shop seemed sure it's a male but I have my doubts. Would anyone be kind enough to give their opinion?..

If you could upload one more photo of him walking on something like a branch or a ruler that would be perfect, but I do see what I consider to be a bulge at the base of his tail so I would concur with the pet shop and say he's male.
