Panther Chameleon with a bad appetite

I'm a first time chameleon owner of a year old male panther chameleon. When I bought him at 6 months, he ate everything well including reptiworms, crickets, mealworms, hornworms, waxworks and butterworms. He went through about 3-4 sheds and I think grew to his regular size. He now doesn't eat as well as he used to and am worried about his calcium and vitamin intake because by the time he eats his food, the calcium has fallen off the insects. He has been checked for parasites at the vet and the vet seems to think he's in good shape. I did, forget to ask about vitamins and will call him next week, but wanted an opinion about this. He will drink water through a syringe and am wondering if I should supplement him this way with a liquid. Thank you in advance.
