i am a first time owner, i have a two month old panther chameleon, i got it about a week ago and since then i havent seen him eat, when i first got him i put about 10 crickets, and it seemed like some were going missing, but then again they might have been hiding or something, but i cleaned out his cage two days ago, and put only 4 crickets in there, and all four are still in there. he moves around and is pretty active, but i do catch him sleeping during the day, i keep him pretty well hydrated i spray hime 3-4 times a day, today i came home and he now white from his spine, and has a small white spot on his head, can anybody help, sugguest anything?

What size crickets are you feeding? I remember feeding my 2-3 month old chams a lot of fruit flies still. Depending on his size and the size of the crickets one cricket could have him full. If you can, get him some fruit flies. At his age he won't turn down any fruit flies and you'll know if he has a healthy appetite or not.

OY! Welcome! It is good to have you here!
The white bits sound like hes starting to shed:)
As for the eating, I recomend filling out this form. It helps troubleshoot any problems you may have, and ensures you get an accurate and helpful response. Pictures of the chameleons setup and the chameleon itself can be extremely helpful. Its also nice to see new chameleons:)
