Panther chameleon developing a "dewlap"?

So my male Panther Chameleon Costello has been doing alright after having mouthrot, but I've started to notice something weird.

First a little background... Hes 1.5 years old, got him 5 months ago, and he will only eat superworms. He has been eating way less, and I discovered it was because of mouthrot. The vet said I caught it early, so in early August he had treatment for a month. He was also dripping a little thick saliva which I thought was upper respiratory, but the vet didn't mention it being anything. In mid September, I took him in for a check up and he actually gained 4 grams since his last visit, and he had only been eating 1 worm a week. He has been on an ointment for his teeth to get better, and his food has been improving, but just recently...

I've noticed he has excess skin from his chin to between his front legs. It seems a little baggy, almost like a dewlap, but like a double chin on a fat person. It seems like excess skin, as if his lack of eating has caught up to him, but someone mentioned it being upper respiratory, which apparently follows mouthrot. Any input? Should he go back to the vet? What could it be?

lol, 100%. He's my avatar, and I've bred him with my female and produced 38 eggs so far haha.

there is a thing called called gular edema but that has to do with fluid retention I believe. Definitely post some pics. Sorry to hear your guy is having problems!

you should go back to the vet and get a fecal test. there may be protozoans in his his belly which explains why he eats but never gets too hungry.

how many feeders do you get at a time? where do you keep them? and how often do you clean it?
what about the chameleons cage?
