Panther Cham eating bark?

My panther has decided he wants to eat the bark stuff off the Exo-Terra flexible vines.

But why?

Wil this cause problems?

Every single species I have has done this. They must be tasty! I really discourage it-bigger chunks could be an impaction risk. When I notice someone has a big piece pulled up, I pull or cut it off.

He just attepmted to tear it apart i had pull him off, thought impaction could be a risk. He has done it twice in two weeks since i first had him.

yeah my panther does this almost every day since he was like 3 months, and now hes 2! and hes just fine

Well thats reasured me, thought it might of been something really wrong.

Going get him some real plants to chew on soon so he leaves the vines alone.
